History
American Sports Construction was founded in 2019 by Josh Sarratt, who has a proven track record of having installed more than 800 high-quality surfaces in his 25-plus years in the industry. Josh and his experienced team have worked for high-profile clients such as the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks to Division I colleges on the West Coast as well as hundreds of school districts, cities and counties, and private companies. Our work has been recognized and honored by the American Sports Builder Association (ASBA).
Josh learned the business from the ground up. He began as an installation crew member in 1998 and quickly rose through the ranks by diligently producing the highest quality installations while completing projects under budget and before deadlines. Before starting his own company, Josh worked as an installer, foreman, superintendent, general superintendent, construction manager and regional manager for another firm. This unique insight allows him to better understand the needs of his clients and enables him to provide the best customer experience and end product.
Josh’s team includes skilled people of high integrity who collectively have decades of experience installing quality synthetic surfaces. ASC has a well-earned reputation for honesty, responsibility and hands-on customer service.
ASC also cares deeply about the environment, which is why we are committed to recycling and reusing synthetic surfaces. Our “cradle-to-cradle” approach dramatically reduces the material that has to go into a landfill. Our surfaces also generate substantial savings on water usage compared to natural grass.
